		<description>I concluded something similar many years ago.  When the first physicians are utilizing EMRs, it may not be a major advantage.  But once a tipping point occurs - and it certainly seems to me that we&#039;re getting close, not having an EMR will be a very substantial liability.

So - costs are important.  But having an EMR may be more important still...
