Input Devices
Dragon® Medical, the leading speech recognition software comes with a standard headset microphone that medical providers can use. A standard headset is also known as an input device. This is because it is an object that feeds data into the computer.
A few other examples of input devices that you are familiar with are: a keyboard, mouse, trackball.
When using Dragon Medical or other speech recognition software, there are several different types of input devices that you can choose from to have an overall good user experience. There is no ‘best’ input device to use with speech recognition. It is completely dependent on user preferences.
