Printers
A printer is a device that prints text/illustrations on paper.
There are several different types of printers:
daisy-wheel
dot-matrix
ink-jet
laser
LCD & LED
line printer
thermal printer
Although your office will be paperless, it is of benefit to have at least one printer within your practice. Sometimes you will need to print out documents at the patient’s request.
