Would definitely recommend this product. I am in a solo Geriatrics private practice and this was a very affordable option that is functional from the various locations in which I practice because of the internet access. Also found the guarantees of meeting the Meaningful Use criteria very appealing.

Completely web based so no need for costly servers and it can be accessed anywhere there is an internet connection, templates are easy to create and edit, customer service is very knowledgeable and always available at no extra charge, the system very easy to use and there is seamless integration with our practice management software.

All the EHR's we reviewed offer similar core capabilities. What made Sevocity stand out to us was their commitment to the customers' satisfaction' and their honesty and integrity. Sevocity always told us up front what they could and could not do and gave honest assessments of realistic time frames for updates and modifications. We have found that to be a rare experience in the software world. Our experience with other vendors is that they will tell you what you want to hear and then apologize when they don't meet the expectation. In other words, we were pleasantly surprised to find that Sevocity does not tell or promise you whatever it takes to get you to sign the agreement. It has been an extremely rare occurrence when any any time frame set by Sevocity was not met or exceeded. They never "blame the provider" when a provider has issues/concenrs with the software, instead they work extremely hard to correct any perceived failing.

yes, it has brought greater consistency to the treatment of chronic disease patients and allows us to better follow up on recommended treatments
Pros
hosted by vendor so there is minimal IT requirements on our side, monthly subscription fee made it very affordable, we could start providers using it as they were comfortable with minimal interruption to patient flow, fairly intuitive to the user and the support staff at Sevocity goes above and beyond the call of duty when working with the end users. They are very knowledgeable and have an extremely cooperative "we will solve the problem" attitude.
Cons
At the time we felt we couldn't afford on-site training and opted for on-line trainings. In hindsight we realize this wasn't the optimal method for all of our providers and probably slowed our implementation, however in the end it worked out. Othwerwise, no problems!
