This software simply put is not ready to be on the market yet. It is full of bugs and error messages. There are buttons and dropdown menus which simply don't work. I was told that this software would allow docs to code their visits, thus minimizing some of the biller's work. NOT TRUE. The 'HCFA' button prints out a useless document without key information for anyone involved (patient, provider, or insurance).
It is very slow. Even with the recommended equipment purchased, one drop down menu takes at least 30 seconds to pop up. Per patient that alone gives an example of time and productivity losses.
The absolute worse problem is that it forces you to have INACCURATE OFFICE NOTES, not allowing a prescription to be documented as given that day. That field populates your office notes making it seem as if a medication you are prescribing that visit was one the patient was already taking. Isnt' the main goal of EMR to increase accuracy and patient safety?
Don't even try to use the scanning feature of this software. It will bring your office to a screeching halt. We had to write a program OURSELVES to make it usable. It is as if no one in their office has actually tested that aspect of the product.
It is extrememly disppointing to know they continue to market heavily while being aware of these limitations.
At this point I highly recommend bypassing this product.

No, very slow and cumbersome.

none
Pros
E prescribing. Convenience of taking the office on the go with you to access info needed about patients away from the office.
Cons
Implementation was very slow cumbersome. Software full of bugs. My productivity has been markedly decreased since the addition of this software to our facility. The sales people tell you information about the software capabilities which are WRONG. There are buttons and drop down menus which simply don't work or are incomplete.
