Does it Improve the Quality of Care
Relationship to Manufacturer - If Any
None. I bought MicorMD PM ion 2004 it did not have an EMR piece at that time but it did have an interface with the EMR that I chose and the two companies seemed to be working together
I stoped using MIcroMD in 2009.
Harbor Technology Group walked away from a service and billing contract. They walked away. It was a very clear Evergreen contract with a very specific time that either of us could terminate and it was 3 months beofre an anerversay. There was nothing to sue for. MicroMD corporate office picked up the pieces briefly but could do nothing about Harbor Technology Group's behavior. I ultimately left MicoMD because i wasn't going to use their EMR and I wanted an integrated product. I spent a lot of time with the MicorMD EMR sales people
When MicroMD added their own EMR they were no longer interested in supporting or fixing constant breakdowns with the interface with the EMR I was using. So I turned into the demading customer who needed problems fixed that they had no motivation to fix.
