It took me about 10-15 hours to learn Praxis. You design approximately 25 progress notes with your most common diagnoses. Then it takes off from there. A new note is generated by amending a previous diagnosis and saving. You can make your own letterhead for your notes. Allows you to send your information to colleagues with pride and no “EMR” embarrassment.
Also available for those not able to spend the critical up front time is downloading note formats already produced by Praxis physicians.

Completely customizable progress notes to your preferences. Historical data presentation, physical exam items, Assessment discussions-the way you want it to read and look. You design your notes completely. Interfaces well with labs, ie. Quest, and billing software, ie. Genius. Create flow charts of clinical data and labs. Great physician influence in improvement updates. Tech support and instructors are extremely knowledgeable. Meaningful use is promised by company.
