The Amcis Network is much more than an EMR. The Patient Care Manager, Patient HealthPort, Community Viewer and Physician Exchange work together to uniquely leverage clinical databases and the functionality of the Internet. The Amcis Network empowers providers and patients throughout the health care process thereby providing a better care experience and saving time and money. The Amcis Network takes care of everything for you so you can spend your time practicing the art of medicine. It truly is changing the way providers feel about EMRs.

Pros
This system is not only simple for the least computer literate staff member in your office it makes everyone more efficient. Including the patient! It also opens up a whole new venue of support staff with the web portal making working at home an option for your billing staff. As well as an easy way for patients to feel directly linked to their physician(s).
Also, you can choose to implement AMCIS one module at a time or all at once and always be confident the support staff is there to help you through the entire process and after in a timely fashion.
Cons
The scheduler is so intuitive that you have to double book (which is a breeze as well) those physicians who demand an open schedule and a certain number of patients a day. Otherwise, AMCIS all but works intuitively for you.
